The consumption of art via screen has become so ubiquitous that it often replaces a visit to a gallery or museum, and the experience is implicitly degraded. We enjoy the digital space, but we need the tangible even more, don’t we?
Share, Tag or Dye is an immersive installation where social media meets the tangible. 204 artists colaborated by providing a link from their social media feeds to be brought into “matter” using a nineteenth century technique, cyanotype.
Share, Tag or Dye is in loving partnership with Alternative Photography, VAGon – in(ter)disciplined space & Malmaison Studios. The project is financed by the Romanian Ministry of Culture.

O consumo de arte via tela tornou-se tão onipresente que muitas vezes substitui uma visita a uma galeria ou museu, com isso a experiência é implicitamente degradada. Gostamos do espaço digital, mas precisamos ainda mais do tangível, não é mesmo?
Share, Tag or Dye é uma instalação imersiva onde a mídia social encontra o tangível. 204 artistas colaboraram fornecendo um link de seus feeds de mídia social para serem trazidos para a “matéria” usando uma técnica do século XIX, a cianotipia.
Share, Tag or Dye é uma parceria com Alternative Photography, VAGon – espaço in(ter)disciplinado e Malmaison Studios. O projeto é financiado pelo Ministério da Cultura da Romênia.
