What the Luck

Film photography is often perceived as a volatile medium, where luck can be a decisive factor in the nature of an image. In this project, I deliberately disturbed the negatives' chemistry, handing the photographs fate to how much damage they can deal with. These concepts ultimately meet in human relationships, which depend on your background and external factors to grow or wither. In these photographs, you are presented with these two outcomes depending on which direction you choose to follow. The narrative presented is mediated by the damage caused and the colors created by it guide the viewer through the characters point of view.

Uma Questão de Sorte

A fotografia analógica é muitas vezes percebida como um meio volátil, onde a sorte pode ser um fator decisivo na natureza de uma imagem. Neste projeto, desorganizei deliberadamente a química dos negativos, entregando às fotografias ao destino. Esses conceitos acabam se encontrando nas relações humanas, que dependem de fatores químicos e externos para florescer ou murchar. Nessas fotografias, você é apresentado a dois resultados, dependendo da direção que escolher seguir. A narrativa apresentada é mediada pelo estrago causado aos químicos e as cores por ele conduzem o espectador pelo ponto de vista das personagens.
